Terms & Conditions

Please make sure you have read and understand all of our terms and conditions before placing your order.

 

Ordering

Once you have decided on the right sofa for you, contact us by email at jacksoncove@hotmail.com or telephone 01253 350809. We will then email you with your order and a copy of our terms and conditions which you will be required to sign and send back to us.

 

Payment

Once all of your order details are complete and the terms and conditions have been signed, we will require a 50% non-refundable deposit before your sofa is created to your specification.

Payment methods include debit or credit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Electron or Maestro. Payments can also be made electronically by bank transfer in which case details will be provided on request but please ensure to use your order ID or surname as a reference to locate the payment.

 

Delivery

Our delivery is free for the Blackpool area but charged at £1 per mile from the store’s postcode of FY2 9HZ for other areas of the UK (Mainland Only).

When your sofa is complete, we will contact you again to arrange the most appropriate date for delivery and take payment for the remaining balance on the order.

If you choose to change your delivery date after being booked in, then you must notify us at least 2 working days before your delivery is due. Any changes made after this will incur a £20 admin fee.

Please ensure somebody is home on the chosen delivery date or you will incur a failed delivery charge of £50.

We will only deliver to ground floor or 1st floor with easy access.

Because all of our sofas sold online are made to your individual criteria, the delivery can take between 3-8 weeks depending on which model you choose. Each model will have their own lead time listed under the item’s product information.

 

Failed Delivery

Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to our sofas as they are each made to your specific requirements. For this reason, Jackson Cove is unable to take any sofas/chairs back or process any refund unless the item is damaged or faulty on delivery.

You are responsible for checking that the sofa will fit the property and access is sufficient enough for successful delivery.

Jackson Cove will not take any responsibility for a non-fit item.

If your items do not fit and need to be redelivered, you will be charged the delivery fee a second time.

 

Guarantee

All our made to order sofas come with at least a 5 year manufacturer’s frame guarantee, unless otherwise stated. The guarantee starts from the date of delivery and offers cover against manufacturing defects on the structure of the frame. Some sofas also include a manufacturer’s cushion guarantee which will be displayed on the product page.
